She progressed to Copyright Manager at Chrysalis Music Ltd. With a total of eight years within music publishing behind her, she decided the time was right to change direction and joined Zomba Production Music, (now part of Universal Music). During her time with ZPM Jacqui had full responsibility for organising their overseas conference in Paris, and as Production Manager oversaw the post-production of approximately 100 albums a year!
Jacqui has also been on the adjudication panel for the heats of Song for Europe and sat on the panel for the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (now Ivors Academy) “Song Doctors” and “Songfest”.

During November 2003, Jacqui established a music industry consultancy business and clients included BMG and Non-Stop Music (USA). She continues to assist songwriters and recording artists today. Working closely with the Wellingborough Hindu Community, Jacqui took on the role of Events Manager for the local Mela Festival; the headline act was The Thirst, the first band to sign to Ronnie Woods record label! Returning to her roots on the subject of copyright she has worked alongside World ORT to clear music for a project reflecting on ‘the role of music in the Holocaust.’ Jacqui has also been a Director for an annual ‘boutique’ festival, commemorating the Wellingborough Diggers.
Jacqui runs workshops relating to the UK music industry for prisoners. As part of the 91Ó°ÊÓ and HMP Leicester partnership, Jacqui leads and facilitates an annual two-week arts’ festival behind bars for HMP residents. During the pandemic Jacqui recorded and launched her music industry course for prisoners, with creative partner Megg Nicol via in-cell television, Wayout TV. The arts’ festival was also transformed into 8 episodes and aired via Wayout TV. The arts festival, Talent Unlocked presents opportunities for students and colleagues to participate.
