I am a lecturer in Psychology specialising in digital interventions and neurodevelopmental and mental health disorders, especially tic disorders and adolescent depression. Prior to this, I was a Research Fellow in Digital Mental Health, working with NIHR MindTech MedTech Co-operative at the University of Nottingham. I completed my PhD at the University of Nottingham whereby I conducted a process evaluation of the Online Remote Behavioural Intervention for Tics (ORBIT) trial. I have also worked for many years as a psychologist and as a researcher in a range of different settings, including UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, the Priory Hospital, and a brain injury rehabilitation unit. This included carrying out assessments of patients, outcome measures, and facilitating group therapy sessions. I have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and an MSc in Psychological Research Methods from the University of Plymouth. My research interests include evaluating complex interventions, digital mental health, neurology, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
